1. Precut Tint:
- Precut tint is pre-measured and pre-cut to fit specific makes and models of vehicles. Manufacturers or distributors create templates for various car models, and the tint film is cut to match the dimensions of the windows of those specific vehicles.
- Precut tint kits typically come with individual pieces of tint film for each window, including the front and rear windows.
- Installation of precut tint is generally easier and faster than cutting and fitting tint film from a roll. It minimizes the need for precise trimming and shaping during installation.
2. Regular Tint:
- Regular tint refers to window tint film that is sold in rolls or sheets. It is not pre-cut to fit specific vehicle models. Instead, the installer must measure, cut, and shape the tint film to fit each window on the vehicle individually.
- Installing regular tint requires more skill and experience because the installer needs to accurately cut the film to match the shape and size of each window, which can be more time-consuming and may require additional tools.
- Regular tint gives the installer more flexibility to customize the tint job according to the customer's preferences or specific needs.
Choosing between precut tint and regular tint depends on several factors, including the installer's skill level, the desired level of customization, and the vehicle's make and model. Precut tint kits can be convenient for DIY enthusiasts or installers who want a quicker and easier process, while regular tint offers more flexibility and customization options but requires more expertise during installation.
